Produced by the iconic wine maker out of the Clare. This elegant Riesling is bone dry with bracing acidity and mouth-watering flavours of tangy lemon and lime. Pale green in colour this Clare Valley Riesling displays fresh citrus and floral aromatics and is crisp, dry and fresh on the palate.

The development of this wine was an integral part of a winemakers 9-year, but ultimately unsuccessful, battle with bowel cancer. The first wine under this label was a Riesling and to this day, part of the proceeds from the sale of each bottle to fund his sons education.

Aromas of lemon, grapefruit juice, brown lime and white flowers combine with a lick of mineral and wet slate on the nose. The palate is refreshing, with flavours of grapefruit and citrus rind with a white floral lift. The fruit weight shows the hallmarks of Watervale Riesling with zesty acidity, that gives line but still allows a sense of generosity.

This aromatic, medium-bodied wine features zesty lime, fresh rock melon, and green apple flavors. These elements combine seamlessly with natural acidity, leading to a clean and savory finish. Fiano, a grape variety increasingly recognized in Australia, stands out for its compelling texture, varietal expression, and aromatic complexity.
