Mazza is a new producer to Wine Selectors, who specialise in growing Spanish and Portuguese varieties in the Geographe region of Western Australia. Classic medium bodied cool climate cabernet structure. Smooth and rich with excellent fruit intensity with red & black berries. Leafy, earthy notes with layers of savoury, powdery tannin. Lovely balance & persistence.

Fruit tannin and bold flavours of mulberries and wet slate. A focused core of fine textures and glazed cherries culminates in a mineral and persistent finish.

Intensely flavoured with loads of black and purple fruit yet retains a degree of elegance with polished tannins and savoury herb and spice elements on the complex finish.

This is a classic Wilyabrup Cabernet – but with a twist. Rather than crafting a cabernet with massive architecture, we wanted to table a wine that dispensed with a poignant tannic structure, yet still delivered on the beauty that is Cabernet from this region.

Displaying a perfumed nose of dark berries and savoury characters.The palate is full of juicy berries and earthy notes that are well supported by fine grained, integrated tannins.
