Semi translucent red to dark red colour with a light brick red tinged hue. Fragrant aromas of dark cherry, rhubarb, dried herbs, brambly cedar, forest floor and spice greet the nostrils. Delicious cherry, strawberry and rhubarb flavours are layered across the palate with a supple feel. Lying beneath are notions of brambly dried herbs, forest floor and spice. Another great success story of grape grower turned grower/winemaker. Troy Kalleske is the latest custodian of a family heritage that dates back to 1853 when the Kalleske family first planted vineyards in the Moppa sub-discrict of Greenock, in the north-west of the Barossa Valley. This Shiraz (with a touch of Viognier and Petit Verdot) is 100% biodynamic and has concentrated aromas of blueberry, cloves, violets and dried fig. The silken palate that follows has dark fruit and lifted notes of floral with a sublime length of flavour.

Located at Angle Vale, the Carypidis family have been producing high quality Pinot Grigio for Yalumba for a number of years and were Certified Organic in 2010. This beautiful example exhibits jasmine and white flowers, which are complemented by cinnamon quill and all spice. These are met by crunchy nashi pear acidity and a musk stick finish.
