Gorgeous Grenache displays a beautifully perfumed nose with hints of violets and wild strawberry. The palate is succulent, juicy and Pinot-like in its profile while the finish is savoury and moreish. Sourced from a number of vineyards in The Barossa and McLaren Vale regions of South Australia. All vineyards are vinified in small batches, separately. Wild ferments, whole bunch inclusion, larger oak and no filtration or fining define the natural character of the wine. From our base in the idyllic Adelaide Hills, we work with pristine fruit sourced from iconic vineyard sites. Giles Cooke MW and Fergal Tynan MW, with the helping hand of Peter Leske, hand-make small-batch wines that illustrate the benefits of great sites and intelligent winemaking. The“LOVE 520 Shiraz”series is a limited edition wine which is originated from love and developed with the purpose of expressing love.“520”represents not only love, but also everything carried by a bottle of wine. To produce a standard bottle of wine requires 5.5 bunches of grapes on average, or about 520 grapes. The wine body is full and rich , with bright and soft tannins. Rich in aromas of chocolate, black pepper and blackberry jam, as well as subtle soil fragrance, which makes the taste buds feel a delicate balance.

You don’t often see Bordeaux’s inky Petit Verdot blended with spicy Shiraz. But here in Australia, there are no rules so winemakers are free to blend them. The result?
