Alba Martin Albarino
100% delicious Albarino produced on the Atlantic coast in Galicia in the north west of Spain, between two estuaries. Of course, the food match here is seafood, pulpo (octopus) in particular. It's so delightful with intense and elegant aromas, alongside hints of white stone fruits and white flowers. The proximity to the sea gives the wine its freshness and saltiness and the granitic soils enhance its natural minerality. On the palate, the wine is rounded and full- bodied, with a light petillance that adds to its vivacious sense of freshness, and there's an impressive persistence on the finish. For those not familiar with Albarino, this wine will surprise and delight. And for the lucky ones who have visited Galicia, the memories will come flooding back.

Pillastro Primitivo
It’s no coincidence Pillastro is one of our bestselling Italian reds – customers love all that richness, warmth and bold, ripe fruit. Pillastro comes from Puglia, in Italy’s deep south, best known for big, smoky wines made from prized local varieties Primitivo and Negroamaro. It is made by Angelo Maci, a leading figure in the quality revolution of the last two decades, whose cellar Cantine Due Palme has twice been named Winery of the Year. Angelo made this wine purely from Primitivo, which produces rich, powerful reds with plenty of ripe fruit. A period of oak ageing has infused the wine’s generous plum and damson character with notes of spice and vanilla. Enjoy with hearty casseroles, pasta with a rich tomato sauce, or garlic roasted lamb.
Monasterio de Santa Cruz
With an impressive award-winning history, this densely flavoured, spicy champion comes from the Padró family cellar founded in 1898, in Spain’s Tarragona region. Combining concentrated, old bush vine (up to 70 years old) Monastrell (aka Mourvèdre or Mataro) from Tarragona with a little from warm Jumilla for extra richness, plus a portion of strawberry scented Tempranillo, this rich and spicy red is spot on with barbecued, lamb or beef, or try it with a range of Spanish tapas-inspired delicacies.

CVNE Contino Reserva Rioja
Contino was founded in 1973 as the first Chateau in Rioja on the 62 hectare estate in Rioja Alavesa. The name "Contino" refers to the officer in charge of the one hundred soldiers who looked after the royal family continuously, or "de contino". Grapes are carefully handpicked from the best microplots within the estate, with particular attention towards the characteristics of the soil and the characters they impart on the wines produced. The resulting blend of 86% Tempranillo, 6% Mazuelo, 6% Graciano and 2% Garnacha is exceptionally harmonious, with aromas of fresh dark fruits, along with spicy, toasty, notes of cedar and black pepper. This is a rich, flavour-packed wine full of complexity, with all of its components seamlessly integrated.
