Sancho Garces pays homage to King Sancho Garcés III el Mayor, king of the Kingdom of Pamplona between 1004 and 1035, who promoted the pilgrimage route of the Camino of Santiago, or Way of St. James, and built hospitals and lodging. Sancho Garces presents aromas of fresh fruit and liquorice. Soft tannins, very well-balanced and easy-drinking.

The Navarra region is located in the north of Spain, at the Western end of the Pyrenees. This particular wine comes from the Ribera Baja subzone at the southern end of Navarra and is a bright and expressive example of Spanish Tempranillo, full of red fruit and elegant, spicy notes and a rich, plush mouthfeel from a smidge of Merlot in the blend. Marqués de Burgos Roble is a fresh and modern style of Ribera. An oaked red with a youthful expression and great fruit intensity. 100% tempranillo. Vineyards of 25 to 30 years of age, located on a south-southwest facing slope in the Quintana del Pidio, La Aguilera and Zazuar. The fermentation took place in concrete tanks at a temperature of no more than 26ºC to maximize the concentration of primary and secondary aromas. Six months’ ageing in American oak barrels from the north of the Appalachians (70%) and French oak from forests in central France (30%.) Aged in the bottle for at least 10 months. Tasting notes Colour. Clean and bright, intensely colored, deep cherry re. Nose. Intense aromas of red fruit and strawberry-cream candies in harmony with smoky notes. Palate. It is balanced and well-structured on the nose, with evident fruit throughout evolving into enveloping tannins that give the wine an extraordinary finesse. It has an interesting persistence on the finish, with generous textures on the palate. Pairings: Charcuterie, pasta, stews, and mature cheeses.

Very dark, deep garnet color. Its long ageing contributes all kinds of tertiary aromas, a highly complex range with descriptors like leather, animal notes, game meat, tobacco leaves, graphite and smoke. Aromas of black fruit and very ripe or candied red fruit are also present. e body is very unctuous and persistent, with great density and excellent volume in the mouth. This wonderful red wine flaunts a deep plum colour. The well balanced bouquet offers fragrances of red fruits and raspberries enhanced by a gentle touch of herbs. This delightful nose is followed by mouth-filling flavours of savoury fruit, complex spice and subtle vanilla oak on the palate. Integrated with fine tannins, the resulting drink is very approachable. This wine has been specially crafted to be enjoyed upon release, but can also be cellar for 3 to 7 years for later drinking.

Great finesse and aromatic complexity, distinctly floral spicy, savoury, balsamic in its expression. The nose is vivid and compound. The texture is focused.
