Raison, and rose petal aromas with dried fruit and a hint of wood age. Palate of rose petals, fruit cake and raisons, fresh and lively with youthful primary fruit characters evident. Well balanced palate which is clean and fresh with a drying finish. The solera has been the recipient of barrels from the Rare Muscat solera, emptied but not washed so influence coming from remaining wine in the bottom of the barrels; not as much influence imparted as in the Old Vine Muscadelle situation. Tawny colour with a slight reddish/ brown hue on the edge. Founded in 1858 by William Chambers and situated just one kilometre west of Rutherglen, on the Corowa road. The original vineyards which were replanted after phylloxera attacked the area in the late 1890's now have some irrigation, and produce low tonnages with wonderful concentrated flavour. Rosewood's fifth generation winemaker Bill Chambers OAM, handed over to son Stephen in 2001. The proud tradition of winemaking continues from the rich old fortified wines made in the early 1900s by great grandfather Will Chambers who started off the wonderful Tokay and Muscat blends which today are renowned throughout the world. The Rare Muscat and Rare Tokay consistently receive perfect, 100 out of 100 scores from the influential wine writer Robert Parker Junior of the Wine Spectator who refers to Bill as the "Master of the Fortified wine business of Australia".

The wine has a tawny colour with hints of red. The aroma is a mix of ripe berry fruit, with rancio characters from extended barrel maturation. On the palate there is ripe fruit giving a generous mouth feel with hints of vanilla and chocolate. The wine has an attractive drying finish.

The wine has a rich amber colour. With aromas of raisins, candied peel and spice with notes of sweet butterscotch. The palate is intense showing the benefit of time in barrel with concentrated fruit and lovely balanced sweetness. Hip Sip does its ageing in the old oak barrels prior to bottling and will not age further in the bottle. Once opened it should be consumed in about a month.

Juniper - Elderflower - Orange - Angelica Root - Cucumber - Lavender - Rose Petals - Cassia Bark A distinctly floral Old Tom style Gin, created by infusing lavender, rose-petals and of course, elderflower. On the nose it is honeyed and floral , bursting with botanicals - a hint of spice comes from cassia bark. On the palate a soft sweetness is followed by flavours of rose petals and chamomile while delicate notes of lychee and green floral notes linger on the finish.

Juniper - Orange - Star Anise - Lemon Myrtle - Angelica Root - Cardamom - Lemon Verbena - Bitter Almond Our take on a classic London Dry style Gin. With our Premium Dry Gin we wanted to create a product that is distinctly of Rutherglen. We use Angelica root to bring out a lovely aniseed note, that is reminiscent of fine aged Durif. This is complimented by native Australian botanicals like lemon myrtle and wattle seed. Juniper characters lead and are clean on the palate, flavours of licorice and lemon myrtle linger, adding a desirable length and warmness to this gin.

Durif is ideally suited to Rutherglen, as it is a late ripening variety, requiring a warm climate and an extended ripening period to develop its full flavour and structural potential. Durif has been grown in Rutherglen for over a century. The particular Rutherglen ’clone’ has developed an intensity and complexity of aroma, flavour and structure that is not seen in any other region of the world, justifying Durif’s recognition as Rutherglen’s icon variety.Rutherglen Estates Durif has an incredible depth of colour and flavour. APPEARANCE: Dark bronze-gold colour with hints of amber. AROMA: Intense, fresh and fruity aromatics with characters of honey, butterscotch, crème brulee, creamy caramel, dried oranges, orange blossom, dried pears, tea-cake, malt, and green tea. PALATE: These characters are also evident on the palate which is luscious with a hint of jasmine and fresh layers of flavour which linger in the mouth. This wine has a luscious texture with the gentle warmth of clean spirit and well-balanced sweetness complementing the finish.
