Established in 1970, Cape Mentelle is one of the founding wineries of the Margaret River region. Parcels of hand selected fruit from our unique vineyard sites are proudly showcased in our Winemaker’s Release. A classic expression of Margaret River Shiraz, this wine offers dark berry and rich plum flavours with nuances of olives and tobacco leaves. Balanced, fine tannins lead to a long and persistent finish.

So take their advice with this 7 x Gold medal-winning blend! In the glass: Deep red purple. On the nose: Cassis and plum with a touch of mint, bay leaf and vanillin oak. On the palate: Shows a mouth-watering balance of racy acidity and fine tannins providing support for the layers of black fruits and varietal herb through to the long, fresh finish. Dark ruby red with a violet hue. A lifted bouquet of dark cherries, plum,mulberry and mint combined with layers of spice and distinct coffee like aromas from oak maturation. Elegant with flavours of ripe red and black fruitsand spices dominant with palate. The palate is well-balancedwith a soft mouthfeel and lingering spicy tannins.

100% Shiraz gives this wine a vibrant pink colour, lovely lifted aromas of raspberry and icing sugar. The palate vibrates with lovely rich fruit flavours finishing more in the dry spectrum.

Sourced from some of Margaret River’s finest vineyards, the wine is a vibrant purple in the glass, the nose is plush and vibrant with dark plum and warm spices. The palate has lovely expression, medium bodied red and blue fruits are supported by well-integrated, subtle tannins, perfect for a range of cuisines, especially the backyard BBQ. Xanadu Fusion Cabernet Sauvignon exhibits vibrant, characteristic aromas of ripe blackcurrants, dark berry fruits, and black plums entwined with savoury hints of bay leaf and spicy, toasty oak. The full-bodied palate is packed full of juicy fruits of the forest, cassis and mocha flavours. A generous wine, with a solid tannin structure and fleshy fruit characters which persist through to a warm, lingering finish.

This highly expressive Margaret River Shiraz comes from the award-winning Miles From Nowhere label. With grapes sourced from precious little pockets of exceptional land and vineyards, this Shiraz lives up to their reputation with great fruit concentration driven by mixed berries and dark, juicy cherry fruit.

This wonderfully elegant Shiraz shows intense, pristine, blackberry fruit and ripe, silky tannins. It almost has a Pinot Noir elegance to it and, luckily, the quality of future vintages will only be getting better too as Voyager's new clones come on line.
