RIESLINGFREAK NO. 14 WATERVALE RIESLING
Rieslingfreak is indeed ‘a freak’, and not simply because of its rarity as an Australian winemaker focused on a single variety. A collection of wines, each given its own number to represent a different style, region or vineyard. The home of the No.14 is a single vineyard at Watervale in the Clare Valley, a region renowned for producing Riesling of richness and elegance. This wine may be enjoyed in its youth, but will also reward long-term cellaring.
Aromantiques Chardonnay
This artisan crafted Clare Valley Chardonnay delivers what the bouquet promises, delightful aromas of citrus fruits, fig, and melon flavours along with a clean, mineral acidity and a touch of lemon zest. Texturally, it is very delicate, with a soft mid palate and well-integrated oak. Overall, the wine is quite aromatic with great line & length which lingers long after the wine is consumed.
Taylor Made Buttery Chardonnay
The wine has great structure, with a burst of diverse flavors across the palate. Rich butter notes envelop the senses, along with hints of peach and nectar. The oak adds volume and strength to the mid-palate, showcasing rich stone fruit flavors, including fig, green melon, lime, and pineapple. The texture is generous and mouth-filling, leaving a long, lingering finish.

Skillogalee Riesling
Lush, almost tropical aromas of pineapple, bananas and melon - the palate exhibits steely minerally flavours without being overly acidic. An excellent advertisement for Clare Riesling.
