The Barossa was blessed with good rain fall in the growing season preceding vintage 2022. Combined with a cool, dry summer, this made for ideal ripening conditions for our grapes. These favourable conditions have led to wines from this vintage having great balance of flavour and intensity. The wine shows a tightly woven complex nose full of spice driven florals, fresh red fruits and dusty cedar nuances. The palate is structured and long, with assertive tannins and a finish full of leather and spice characters.

The Venus Express is best described as a feminine Barossan blend. A voluptuous medium body yet full-flavoured and approachable wine to entice the 'I don't drink red wine' novice or enchant and delight the connoisseur alike. Bright red fruit of cherry, raspberry and strawberry. Layers of delicate yet overt florals, combine with redskin confection and spice, all wrapped around a delicious caramel core. The 'Shaky Train' series is a refrence to the colourful labels - an exclusive comic book style collection named after the artist who goes by the pen name 'Shaky Kane'. Shaky Kane holds a special place in Winemaker Stefan and Co-Owner Ellie's heart as he happens to be Ellie's Uncle. The pair were delighted to be able to use the talent in the family to bring some life and colour to the Dewey Station Wines brand.

Kym Teusner's Joshua is a fresh and lively fruit driven wine produced entirely free from oak influence. The nose offers Summer berries and sweet spice, and the palate is juicy and peppery with a long finish. Superb drinking on its own or with a wide variety of cuisine.

With fruit sourced from vineyards across the Barossa, this Shiraz expresses the characters of the variety and the Barossa. The wine is matured in old French oak and tanks, with each parcel kept separate until the final blending prior to bottling in October 2017. Deep, dark hues of purple and burgundy, with dark plum, lashings of pepper, whispers of vanilla and allspice. Firm tannins powder-coat the palate, gently drying and setting up persistent flavours of red plum, star anise and aniseed.

2014 Z Wine Section 3146 Barossa Valley Shiraz. Shiraz performed well with high baumes and low yields keeping us on or toes. Ripe fruit flavour and good weighted wines helped us shape a classic and popular Barossa style with loads of raspberry, licorice, black pepper and chocolate for complexity.

Amelia and Trent Burge are the 6TH generation of a Barossa winemaking legacy. The two siblings, have named this collaborative range after a Burge family vineyard, where they spent many childhood years, affectionately calling it The Sandmine vineyard due to its location near a neighbouring sandmine. The old vineyards roots run deep into the soil giving them constant access to the underground water. The range includes a flagship wine for each of the duo, The Grenache favoured by Amelia for its rich black-currant, red and dark fruit flavours. This modern Barossa Grenache, from the familys 100 year old bush vines is a fruit driven style, with mouth filling richness and subtle tannins.
