Absinthe has a long and illustrious history that is intertwined with prohibition during the time of World War 1 when Absinthe was outlawed. A lot of intense research has been undertaken by the Distillerie des Terres Rouges to revive this ancient liqueur which has been carried out with the highest respect for its old traditions. Mythe is distilled with aniseed, badiane, vervain, hyssop, and, of course, wormwood which produces a full, layered bouquet that is then followed by a balanced palate. The distinctive bitterness of the wormwood makes its presence known, but doesn't overwhelm the other botanicals. Best served in the traditional manner with 20mL poured into a glass followed by placing a sugar cube on an Absinthe spoon above the liqueur before pouring 100mL of cold water over the sugar. Enjoy the aromas and flavours that have long been forbidden.

Jean Boyer Pastis Restanques

Domain des Restanques in Provence has over a 1000 aromatic plants like sage, wormwood, lemon verbena, rosemary, angelica, balm, coriander, mint ... others like gentian, savory, thyme grow abuntly in countryside. Jean Boyer selects 24 plants and 12 spices to macerate individually before blending and distilling. The pastis is then bottled without filtration to keep optimum flavour and colour resulting in an intensely elegant drink.

Pierre Ferrand Amber Cognac

Pierre Ferrand Amber Cognac has a rich glowing amber colour. It is aromatic and complex on the nose. It has surprisingly little wood influence. Instead, there are flavours of lightly spiced cinnamon and vanilla with notes of rose, fruit pastries and almond. The average age of the blend is 6 years or V.S.O.P equivalent. Godet VSOP Cognac

Godet VSOP Cognac is a fine champagne VSOP cognac that is aged for 14 years in oak casks. Extremely dry and smooth, this cognac is elegant and fruity. Produced in France by Godet's family owned cognac house that dates back to 1872.

Dolin Suedois Bitter

During the 18th century this elixir enabled Swedish doctor, Claus Samst, to heal the poor, vagrants, workers and anyone who had difficult lives. After much research and hours of hard work he compiled a manuscript describing 46 diseases that could be healed with this elixir. In 1821, Joseph Chavasse, founder of La Maison Dolin, saved the elixir from extinction by marketing it under the name Suédois Dolin in memory of the famous doctor. Its recipe has remained unchanged.
