The first ever release of Sullivans Cove XO Double Cask Brandy is a marriage of ten different casks, each selected for their individual flavour profiles to create a uniquely Tasmanian spirit much more than the sum of its parts. Each brandy in this batch was aged for between nine and ten years in various French Oak ex-tawny and American oak ex-Bourbon casks, distilled from a wide variety of Tasmanian wines including chardonnay, pinot noir, gewurztraminer, sauvignon blanc, cabernet sauvignon and merlot to achieve incredible complexity. Old Kempton Distillery's Small Cask Matured Single Malt Whisky is hand crafted on a magnificent heritage-listed property in Kempton, Tasmania, first gazetted to sell spirits in 1836. Weary travellers would stop at the coaching inn overnight on their ride between northern and southern Tasmania and the local innkeeper would revive them with aq good dram. Today, the tradition continues with Tasmanian barley double distilled through our copper pot stills and patiently matured in small oak casks, creating delicious, rich, balanced Tasmanian Single Malt Whisky - The perfect small cask matured dram.

Creamy mouthfeel packed full of rich dark fruits and sweet malt notes, which give way to sweet vanilla and cocoa interspersed with cinnamon spice. The whisky is matured in a combination of French and American oak ex-wine barrels plus finished in rare Morris Muscat barrels, previously used to create multi-award winning Muscat. COLOUR: Deep rich copper with reddish hues. NOSE: Rich with dates, figs and sweetness of dark molasses. PALATE: Well balanced and complex. Dried fig, sweet malt, vanilla and spices with creamy mouth feel. FINISH: Superb oak influence, lovely finish with satisfying after taste that lingers on the palate.

Ten years in the making, this gin is the distillers masterpiece. Featuringg suspended finger lime caviar from the distillers own farm at Kurrajong Heights. The little balls pop in your mouth when you bite them releasing a 40% alcohol burst of finger lime gin which is different to the gin they are suspended in. A medley of Hawkesbury grown citrus Kaffir Lime, Tahitian lime leaves and Navelina orange makes this a gin experience like no other. Complex in its craft, but incredibly simple to enjoy as the perfect G&T. The bottle is mesmerising to look at and is often referred to as like a gin snowdome.

Bottled at cask strength, this is simply a magnificent white spirit for sipping neat. The outcome is not only a wonderfully mellow symphony of floral aromas and sweet candied tangerine, green melon and daisy-like aromas and flavours, it also possesses a supple, delicate, textured and driven palate that hints at Manzanilla Pasada as much it does to Gin. This comes through on the iodine-noted finish. In short, forget what you know about Gin, or even cask-aged Gin. The balance is superb with both the sweeter notes and saline, savoury elements working to make it very difficult to stop nosing and sipping. As the cask was almost completely emptied for this edition of La Bota de Gin it’s also an exclusive.
