A delightfully zesty expression of Cool climate Riesling, sourced from some of the oldest Riesling vineyards in Tasmania. Perfumed with Spring blossoms, citrus and crisp red apple. Dry in style with a clean line of acidity and lime-like freshness.

The Expression range celebrates the diversity of Tasmania’s wine-growing regions. Our Chardonnay has been crafted with exceptional fruit from the Coal River Valley, on the lower East Coast of Tasmania. It displays a symphony of white peach and citrus blossom, the use of French oak imparts a creamy texture that balances the juicy acid line to still retain remarkable freshness.

This very rare wine is a co fermented “field blend” of the rare German variety Schönburger and our 1974 planting of Riesling. There are intense aromas of fruit and flower. Flavours abound, with Jasmine, gardenia, ripe grapefruit, honeydew, rockmelon, hints of wet-stone minerality and phenomenally clear golden delicious apple notes! Inherent fruit sweetness is balanced by refreshing acidity ensuring a crisp, fresh finish - it’s like standing in a field of daisies in summer, with a fresh fruit salad.
