Peerick, in the heart of the rugged Australian Pyrenees, is a fusion of ancient cultures, spiritual connections & a dogged commitment to sustainability & biodiversity. We maintain a deep connection and respect for the ancient and fragile country from which our wines are derived. It permeates everything we do from our viticultural practices through to our wine making. We’re committed to maintaining a rich, healthy, sustainable and diverse eco-system for our 30 year old vines to thrive in. This in turn is reflected in our minimal intervention winemaking. Our name, derived from the Aboriginal word ‘beeric’, the ‘wild cat’, was bestowed on the Pyrenees region by its traditional custodians, the Dja Dja Wurrung. Their beliefs and dreamtime stories, together with the triskele from our Celtic culture, are proudly depicted on our wine labels. This encompasses both our cultures deep spiritual connection to the earth, water, sky and its creatures – in essence our terroir. All working in harmony to produce our distinctive range of quality, award-winning wines. Slainté
Taltarni Vineyards Marque Sparkling White Non-Vintage
This lot criminally undervalue for their own wines, it's that simple. This lively drop is refreshing and people-pleasing but not without nuance. To be honest it's a bit of a party animal and fit for any celebration or occasion. A true Chameleon, fit for drinking in a t-shirt or a tuxedo - enjoy! Talk about bang for your buck... there's a whole lot of quality for the price and a whole lot of fun to be had. Vivacious and vibrant, this is the kind of wine that wouldn't normally be taken overly seriously but Taltarni Vineyards simply can't help themselves. It's a compulsion of theirs to overdeliver and bring a sparkling wine that fits in perfectly at a party but brings a level of attention to detail that completely invalidates the price point. Just as you'd expect there's zippy acid, wonderful citrus and a slight brioche-adjacent richness that carries through to the finish. This is the perfect bubbly for an event or party and frankly we'd feel a little understocked if we didn't have a couple of these waiting in the rack at home - y'know, for emergencies.

Babo Pinot Grigio
The fruit was entirely hand-harvested and allowed 6 hours skin contact in the press before fermentation was carried out at cool temperatures to maximise fruit expression. This wine shows all the hallmarks of easy-going, classic Italian Pinot Grigio; subtle grapefruit and underlying floral and spice notes on the nose followed by citrus and peach flavours bound together by a tight minerality.
