Fresh and floral, there's ample citrus and orchid fruits with perfectly balanced acidity for line and length. It works perfectly with or without food. Born and raised in the Barossa, Daniel started at the Penfolds cellar door, eventually co-founding a wine consultancy. Poured into a wine glass, this white wine displays an exceptionally pale straw appearance which is accompanied by vibrant green hues. A swirl of the glass exhibits rich citrus and floral aromas with a touch of passionfruit. Spicy undertones complete the fruity nose and pave the way for a seamless palate which opens with pear and grapefruit flavours. Sherbet characters follow and the wine ends in a long finish, marked by citrus acidity. Enjoy this wine within 2 to 3 years from vintage to make the most of its youthful flavours. The fruit used to craft The Stump Jump Riesling was gently crushed, fermented, and basket pressed. The resulting white wine showcases a light yellow colour. This beautiful Riesling exudes delightful aromas of frangipani, lemon and lime sherbet from its perfumed bouquet. These vibrant fragrances are replicated on the juicy palate, where they are balanced by subtle sweetness and sharp acidity. This wonderful Riesling ends in a zingy and refreshing finale. Crafted to be enjoyed as an aperitif, it can also be served with beef curry, or fresh and raw fish.
