A soft and generous Langhorne Creek red with supple ripe fruit and a hint of chocolate and sweet vanillin oak - fantastic value!

Church Block first appeared back in 1972 under the watchful eye of Greg Trott and was taken by one of the original vineyards that ran alongside the small Bethany Church, across the road from Wirra Wirra's old ironstone cellars. Over the last 4 decades, it has become one of Australia's favourites. The 2005 Church Block is showing just what a little patience can do. After six years, the velvet texture is the dominant feature with integrated tannin taking a backseat.

A lovely approachable wine from the guys at III Associates. Plum flavours drive the wine with a soft, plush mouth feel and intergrated tannins. Lovely toasty oak is also prevalent with nice blending of the Cabernet fruit.

The rich and full-bodied Coppermine Road Cabernet Sauvignon, named after a neighbouring road, is based on "parent of the Reynell Clone" material, renowned for its low yield, violet blackcurrant aromas and naturally high acidity. This is a classic "best-of-vintage" Australian-style Cabernet Sauvignon, with a great reputation for aging. Typically it shows intense mulberry, violet, cedar aromas with rich cassis, plum, dark chocolate flavours, muscular tannins and underlying savoury oak. After vinification in headed-down open fermenters, fermentation is completed in barrel. 18 months maturation in new and old French oak follows. Older wines may show a touch of earthy, sage, mint characters.

A much-loved South Aussie red, this blended red is rich in black fruits that fill the mouth. Raspberry, red currant and plum fruits are balanced with fine sandy tannins and cedar oak. This medium to full bodied wine has a lovely balance and style in true Church Block character. Church Block was the first wine the late Greg Trott produced under the Wirra Wirra label back in 1972. Elephant In The Room Stupendous Shiraz displays a dark purple hue. The fragrant nose flaunts scintillating aromas of blackcurrants, red berries and violets, coupled with leafy undertones. The dense and taut palate is packed with sweet berry flavours of blueberries, dark plums and smoky spices, supported by a gentle touch of oak toast. These aromas and flavours are balanced by fine tannins, offering a soft mouthfeel. The finish is supple and captivating. Made for consumption upon release, this enticing Shiraz can also be cellared for a decade. It tastes excellent with grilled eggplant, hamburgers, and aged Parmesan cheese.

The grapes used to craft Bremerton Tempranillo/Graciano were fermented in open top vessels and matured in French as well as American oak barriques. The resulting wine shows a lively red colour, with hints of purple highlighting the edges. This enticing red blend offers a vibrant bouquet and juicy palate filled with dark rose, berry, spice and floral characters. These lush elements are supported by the structural acid as well as natural and elegant tannins, to culminate in a delightful and lingering finale. Crafted to age gracefully over time, this wonderful blend tastes amazing with Spanish cuisine as well as sheep milk cheeses.

This gorgeous Walters Reserve Cabernet features a deep crimson red colour with dark hues. The attractive bouquet and the lush palate flaunt sharp nuances of blackberry, chocolate and bramble coupled with subtle earthy and savoury undertones. These vibrant elements, supported by a fine and elegant tannin structure, end the wine in a spicy and captivating finish. Drinking well with red meats, game dishes, or a delicious cheese plate.
