Water Wheel, the famed Bendigo wine producer trots out superb reds year after year. On this occasion though, the price stopped us dead in our tracks. Especially when the sourcing here is premium all the way; the estate vineyards near Bendigo, plus top tier vineyards in Heathcote, the Pyrenees and Grampians regions. With all portions destined for far higher priced wines, this is a scoop to dive on. Cascading black and purple fruits, plush and silky from start to finish, all wrapped in lovely length and structure. Sensational!

A generous and appealing wine showcasing balanced fruit flavours and soft acidity. It has a delightful lemongrass and lanolin wax aroma with tropical notes. Your taste buds will burst with vibrant flavours of passionfruit, lemon & grapefruit.

Deep, luscious red velvet. Malt bursts onto your tongue and the raging hops kick in before the warming alcohol joins the fray. Hoppyness and warming malt goodness.

In the glass: Full deep red. On the nose: Delicate redcurrant, plum, cedar and a light leafy lift. On the palate: Textured with a medium weight core of dark fruit, elegant line and touches of coffee, cherry and savoury oak.
