When a young Alfredo emigrated from Spain in 1940, he had a clear vision of his family’s new life in Australia. Today, his legacy sees the Nugan family established as one of Australia’s most successful agricultural enterprises. This wine is a tribute to his vision and the passion he instilled in his family. Sourced from the Frasca’s Lane Vineyard in Victoria’s cool climate King Valley. Ripe aromas of cherry with hints of mocha, dark chocolate and earth followed by a savoury palate of spicy plum and raspberry with well-integrated tannins.

This medium bodied Sangiovese has wonderful earthy notes lifted with the bright red berried fruits and hints of dark chocolate. Savoury on the palate with flashes of red fruit and subtle layered length.

The Brown Brothers Refreshing Tempranillo is a medium bodied red wine that we have made specifically for serving at your desired temperature. At room temperature the wine shows a vibrant purple colour with juicy red berry fruit and spices on the nose. It is medium bodied and soft on the palate. When chilled it takes refreshment to new highs by enhancing the fruit driven qualities. Vegan Friendly. Fred Pizzini grew up in Italy and is bringing the taste of his homeland to the Australian dining table. His Sangiovese is one of the best examples in the country, with spicy, savoury fruit hiding a vein of mouth watering acid that is a hallmark of the variety. Tempranillo, Spanish for 'early ripening', our Tempranillo grapes are the first to fruit on our vineyard with berries loaded with colour and enticing flavours. Our Tempranillo grapes are grown on our vineyard in Markwood and the 2019 vintage has proven to be an excellent year for the Spanish varietal. Classic savoury Tempranillo characteristics with cherry and raspberry notes make for an excellent food wine.

Named after Alfred Pizzini's grandmother, this is a medium bodied Sangiovese - warm and humble just like its namesake. Aromas of lightly spiced plums and cherries lead to hints of chocolate, leather and lovely savoury characters. The palate is generous and full flavoured with good length, soft tannins and flavours of plums and cherries.
