When a young Alfredo emigrated from Spain in 1940, he had a clear vision of his family’s new life in Australia. Today, his legacy sees the Nugan family established as one of Australia’s most successful agricultural enterprises. This wine is a tribute to his vision and the passion he instilled in his family. Sourced from the Frasca’s Lane Vineyard in Victoria’s cool climate King Valley. Ripe aromas of cherry with hints of mocha, dark chocolate and earth followed by a savoury palate of spicy plum and raspberry with well-integrated tannins.

The bouquet is vibrant with enticing blood plum, cherry, and dark chocolate aromas. A fleshy palate features bright acidity and soft, plush tannins. Damson plum and bramble fruit flavours with entrenched nuances of dried herb and white pepper.

Aromas of cherry, raspberries, red plum and sweet herbs are supported with lifted oak spice notes. Flavours of red plums, cherry and fig define the palate along with integrated varietal fine-grained tannins. A medium to full bodied wine that is complex and textural, with bright acid and a balanced finish.

The nose is of blackberries, raspberry, sour black cherries with notes of chocolate and just a hint of truffle. In the mouth there are lovely cedary tannins with beautiful fruit which speaks of bright raspberries slightly caramelised apple and chocolate.

Arneis, a crisp, crunchy, spicy Italian white originating from Piedmont, Italy, traditionally made without oak. Dal Zotto are owned and managed by the Dal Zotto family where their vineyards, winery and cellar door lie cradled in the tranquil King Valley in the foothills of the spectacular Victorian Alps of northeast Victoria. Fred Pizzini grew up in Italy and is bringing the taste of his homeland to the Australian dining table. His Sangiovese is one of the best examples in the country, with spicy, savoury fruit hiding a vein of mouth watering acid that is a hallmark of the variety. Delicious now - and will get better with bottle age!

Named after Alfred Pizzini's grandmother, this is a medium bodied Sangiovese - warm and humble just like its namesake. Aromas of lightly spiced plums and cherries lead to hints of chocolate, leather and lovely savoury characters. The palate is generous and full flavoured with good length, soft tannins and flavours of plums and cherries.

Named after Patricia Brown, the Patricia Shiraz is Brown Brothers benchmark Shiraz boasting richly concentrated, spicy fruit flavours balanced elegantly by sweet oak flavours and fine tannins resulting in a full-bodied, rich, textured red wine which can be enjoyed now and will continue to develop for the next decade.
