Spinifex Bete Noir Shiraz has a potent herb infused fruit on attack. Spiced red plum, cherry and sage flavours with a saline edge are carried on mid-weight frame of strong black tea-like tannin. The fruit for crafting Reach for the Sky Shiraz was sourced from the 35 year old grapevines planted in the estates vineyards. The grapes were left on skins, gently pumped, and then fermented in stainless steel, prior to maturation in French oak barriques.
