Hand-crafted from a single vineyard site, The Paringa is a Pinot Noir of utmost class, pedigree and intensity. Made from specifically selected barrels of Pinot Noir that were clearly superior at the time of blending and bottling, the wine is a powerful amalgamation of spice, cherry and charry oak characters with a palate of extreme persistence and integrity. Yet another Lindsay McCall masterpiece.

From vines yielding less than 1 tonne/acre, 100% whole bunch, natural yeast ferment, 100% new oak. A powerful and structural Pinot Noir by Lethbridge. An unusual presentation of the MV6 clone in the Estate vineyard produces fruit of great density of flavour, and very low yield (0.5 tonnes/acre). This wine was fermented with 100% whole bunch inclusion and had pre-fermentation maceration for 7-10 days. Wild yeast fermentation in small open vats proceeded with daily pigéage. Pressing was straight to barrel (100% new French oak) to allow for gross lees contact and natural MLF.

Compared alongside the Estate Pinot, this wine is notably created in more of a savoury style. The flavours are precise and well defined with the palate tightly focused with fine and a little reserved tannin. The sweet-sour flavour combination makes a great food match with Asian cuisines.

This classic Yarra Valley Shiraz from Yeringberg is showing those trademark Shiraz characters of cracked black pepper and great fruit weight, there is also some good concentration and a long powdery tannin finish.

The Oakridge 864 range is a showcase of highly detailed micro-selections from the most exceptional single vineyard sites in the Yarra Valley. This Pinot Noir comes from the Hazeldene Vineyard in Gladysdale, a north-facing site at 180 metres elevation. Planted in 1998 with the renowned MV6 clone, the vineyard’s red volcanic soils and cool climate produce wines of precision, purity and depth. A vibrant Pinot Noir with lifted aromas of red berries, florals and a hint of mountain herbs. Layers of boysenberry, plum and subtle bramble add depth, while a touch of carbonic lift from whole-bunch fermentation enhances complexity. The palate is supple and expressive, with juicy red berries, just-ripe raspberries and plums gliding across fine, silky tannins. An elegant elasticity in texture brings both grace and persistence.
