The Third Generation series is a modern style Chardonnay, Robert Stein Winery has crafted with the exceptional fruits from Mudgee to create this great expression of the vineyard and regional characteristics in a bottle. With the aromas of grapefruit, peach and citrus, fermentation was 80% in stainless steel tank with high lees contact. The remainder time in older oak undergoing partial Malolactic Fermentation with wild yeast, which adds diversity and complexity to the finish.

Chardonnay dominates the palate with fresh cut white fruit and citrus, Pinot noir adds elegant and richness to the mid and back palate.

Shiraz grapes harvested in amazing growing conditions, with the fruit portraying great concentration, texture and balance. This juicy and flavour-filled vintage was used to craft a marvellous Shiraz wine showing a bold violet-red hue. Lifted red berry and spice notes flow off the bouquet, while the smooth palate structure features rich dark berry and chocolate flavours. This wine is fit for consumption upon release or can be cellared for about 8 to 10 years. Five-spice lamb, tandoori lamb chops and grilled bison dishes taste wonderful with this elegant Shiraz varietal.

A supple, rounded Shiraz with appealing plummy fruits and a touch of spice, produced from Oatley family vineyards at Mudgee. Will prove a fine partner to richer flavoured red meat dishes.

A touch more residual sugar than normal in this vintage, to ensure it stays within the half-dry category. Once again showing those great lemon/lime citrus characters, with a nice pop of fruit which is balanced out nicely by the crisp, clean acidity. This Single Vineyard Half Dry Riesling was handpicked in the early morning from the bottom half of our Riesling block and whole bunch pressed. Fermentation was cool and slow, with the ferment being stopped at 15 grams residual sugar. The wine was left in tank on lees for a further 4 months, stirring occasionally for further palate texture. The colour is a mixture of faded copper and pink.The nose is elegant showing sweet strawberry and cherry characters, with a hint of fennel in the background. The palate is clean crisp and elegant with good weight and structure, finished with clean crisp acidity. A wine developed for drinking in hot weather with robust garlic laden food, or chilled as is.
