Château Tanunda Matthews Road Shiraz

Exclusive to Dan Murphy's, this flavoursome new single-vineyard Shiraz from the historic estate of Château Tanunda has to be tasted to be believed. Sourced from the higher altitude Barossa region of the Eden Valley, the wine was fully de-stemmed before fermenting on skins for a week without crushing. The result is a complex, velvet-like textured wine with overflowing characters of blueberry, blackcurrant and milk chocolate. An almost ever-lasting finish framed by cedar and fine grained tannins round out one of the greatest exclusives we've ever seen!

Directly from the heart of Eden Valley, the Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from the cool climate, high altitude vineyard of Château Tanunda. A concentrated wine with the expected regional characteristics of mint leaves and ripe dark forest berries on the nose. Well framed tannins and acidity balancing with the subtle toasty oak towards a lengthy finish. A great weekday food wine.

Sam Wigan started out in the wine industry by working a vintage with his father at Peter Lehmann wines before heading to Geyser Peak in California. Returning to Australia with the winemaking bug, Sams style involves letting the varietal characteristics of the grapes shine through, by using natural/wild fermentation and malolactic fermentation, with minimal additions and no finings. Having a nice meal with friends and family is one of his favourite things, so he crafts the wines to be fun, drinkable and best enjoyed with food and good company. This wine offers a lush, velvety, mouth filling experience the colour is intense with deep red and crimson hues, while the aroma is dark, sweet raspberry, violets, cedar and spice. Vibrant fruit, vanillin, complimented with fine tannins and subtle toasty oak appears on the palate.

Shanahans The Barking Dog GSM

Hand-crafted using small parcels of old vine fruit, The Barking Dog Grenache Shiraz Mataro is an exceptional example of three of the Barossa Valleys finest varieties. Natural fruit sweetness drives the palate with flavours of blackberry, plum, tobacco and a touch of spice to round it out. The soft balanced tannins and acid provide the core structure and combine to provide an intense long finish.
