This juicy and flavour-filled vintage was used to craft a marvellous Shiraz wine showing a bold violet-red hue. Lifted red berry and spice notes flow off the bouquet, while the smooth palate structure features rich dark berry and chocolate flavours. This wine is fit for consumption upon release or can be cellared for about 8 to 10 years. Five-spice lamb, tandoori lamb chops and grilled bison dishes taste wonderful with this elegant Shiraz varietal.

With a nose and palate dominated by blackcurrant fruit flavor, this wine is well balanced. A lovely red plum colour that will deepen with age. A softly textured Pinot Noir showing aromatic notes of red forest fruits, complex spice and forest floor. A refreshing mid-palate and fine, persistent tannins. The fruit comes from 25 year old vines grown in the deep granite soils of Tumbarumba in the foothills of the Snowy Mountains.

The 2017 vintage in Orange was unusually warm and dry, giving this wine a strong backbone of ripe fruit characters.The wine is a bright dense cherry red with a tinge of brick red.The bouquet exhibits lifted spicy ripe fruit and light earthy plummy Shiraz aromas, combined with soft vanillin oak characters. Full bodied, the length of the palate is filled with very youthful plummy spicy Shiraz flavours. These fruit characters are balanced by drying oak tannins which contribute both complexity and length to the wine. With a finish that is typical of cold climate Shiraz fruit crisp, clean and elegant.

A pure and flowing wine with a nice savoury edge of red earth and red fruits acommpanied by a soft and subtle tannin. The spice is similar to Chinese 5 spice and really works well with the soft herbs and red fruit. It finishes long and clean.Limited Stock
