Forester Estate is owned by Vignerons Kevin and Jenny McKay. It’s situated in Yallingup, in the northern Margaret River region. Kevin’s motto is to build complexity and texture into his wines literally from the ground up! The superb wines are made by Todd Payne who has had “a distinguished career, starting in the Great Southern, then the Napa, Plantagenet, Esk Valley in Hawke’s Bay, and on to the Northern Rhône” (Halliday). It allows a pre-view of the vintage quality to come and keeps the quality of the Single vineyard wines as high as possible. The wine receives 12 months barrel age in predominantly older French hogsheads allowing the vintage and terroir to show clearly. Bottled unfined and unfiltered.

Voyager Estate Shiraz is deep red in colour with an explosive nose of oak blackberries and spice that is succeeded by a rich flavoursome palate and some chewy tannins. Will improve wonderfully with time.
