Capanna Riserva Brunello Di Montalcino Nico

The Brunello di Montalcino Riserva is a deep and vibrant ruby red with aromas of dried red fruits and dried wild herbs. The palate experience is intense with a complex weave of red fruit and spice, a little strawberry and aniseed jam. The palate doesn’t let up for a long time and it’s structural, with the acidity and tannins pointing to a long and steady future. Made with 100% Sangiovese (selected from their oldest vines and only in the best years), the juice is allowed to macerate on skins for 30-35 days and fermented at a controlled temperature followed by spontaneous MLF (malolactic fermentation), both stages in cone-shaped Slavonian oak casks. The wine is then racked off into 10 to 25 hectolitre Slavonian oak casks for a period of around 40 months prior to being bottle-aged for at least 15 months. Bibi Graetz Testamatta Tosc

The 2020 Testamatta by Bibi Graetz marks a new chapter with a blend of Sangiovese from both old and new vines, emphasizing cooler growing conditions and northern exposures. In response to climate change and a quest for elegance, Graetz has incorporated grapes from a new vineyard near Fiesole. This breezy, high-elevation site contributes 30-35% of the fruit, imparting beautiful clarity, sharpness, and a lifted bouquet. The result is a vibrant, transparent, and fresh wine with notable acidity and aromatic intensity. Testamatta is evolving, making it a wine to watch.

Penfolds Magill Estate Shiraz

The single-vineyard Magill Estate Shiraz is intrinsically linked to Penfolds beginnings. Sourced from the original Magill vineyard on the edge of Adelaide s eastern suburbs. A beautiful bouquet of chocolate mousse, custard and blackberry give complexity to the savory notes of corned beef and olive. This 2013 vintage is medium to full-bodied palate, flavours akin to white sultana cake, dates and a touch of freshly tanned suede. A hint of French oak on the finish.

One of the powerhouses of the Rhône and a name synonymous with beautifully crafted wines from some of the regions finest vineyard sites. Deep ruby red in colour with violet tinges. Spices, red berries and delicate oak aromas. A powerful and tannic Shiraz. Aromas of blackcurrant buds and vanilla, liquorice and spicy finish. A racy and seductive wine by Guigal, perfect for putting down.

Bremerton Old Adam Shiraz

Bremerton Old Adam is a stunning example of Langhorne Creek Shiraz with dense and integrated fruit that exudes ripe plum and blackcurrant. Rebecca Willson is able to seperate each parcel of fruit that comes in off of the old vineyards and keeps them that way throughout fermentation and maturation in oak. This enables perfect barrel selection to create a wine of true distinction.
