Inspired by the life, and death, of Henry Morgan, Captain Morgan's Black Spiced Rum is crafted from authentic Caribbean rum distilled from blackstrap molasses, select spices and natural flavourings, then finished in double charred blackened oak for its distinctive dark colour and premium, smooth taste. Using the distillery's 120 years of rum-making expertise, the master craftsmen have searched our two-year old Bundaberg Rum reserves and selected a vat that was producing a rum with extra special characteristics. This premium rum was then doubled aged for a minimum of four years in our hand-crafted oak vats until it reached its peak.
