The Reserva Tempranillo blend from iconic Riojan producer, Marqués de Riscal is made from fruit sourced from outstanding vineyard sites that are in excess of 15 years of age. This fruit is able to withstand the lengthy maturation process in oak due to the fine, complex tannin and acid structure. The resulting wine is classically savoury with notes of dark berries and toasty oak. The palate is long and rounded with interesting hint of spice.

Marqués de Riscal Próximo is a new addition to the Marqués range and is a bright and fruit driven Rioja style sourced from slightly younger Tempranillo vines. Very strict parcel selection along with traditional picking techniques, this Rioja is bursting with dark blackberry fruit with notes of rich, ripe plums. Hints of liquorice and star anise also give the wine a superb backbone that is perfectly suited many Mediterranean cuisines.

An incredible Spanish Wine from Ribera del Duero, the Burgundy of Spain.Made with 100% "Tinto Fino" grapes and matured for 6 months in French Oak barrels. This wine is made with grapes from single estate vineyards with following a criteria of ecological production.Once in the cellar, the grapes in 16 kg crates go to the table where they are selected and chosen, separating any cluster that does not meet the stringent criteria of maturity, health and cleanliness.The destemming is done directly over each tank, so the grapes arrive intact to the fermentation vessel where the maceration is performed. Even the yeasts for alcoholic fermentation and malolactic fermentation bacteria are indigenous, existing naturally in the skins of the grapes themselves. As a result the wine transfer the same ecological character getting the title of Ecological Wine.In the nose you find a very well structured wine with some creamy and toasted barrel aging touches. A classic red blend based on the Spanish region of Rioja. A blend of 60% Tempranillo, 35% Grenache and 5% Graciano. The Tempranillo provides structure, the Grenache perfume and bright red fruits, whilst the Graciano brings layers of spice. It's medium bodied, yet full of flavour.
