HIRSCH VINEYARDS San Andreas Fault Pinot Noir, Sonoma Coast The San Andreas Fault is Hirsch Vineyards signature Pinot Noir and is crafted to represent the entirety of this multifaceted vineyard. The 2019 San Andreas Fault has fruit from 36 distinct farming blocks. It is the flagship wine from Hirsch, and the wine that represents the summation of the complex vineyard. The vineyard has a fearsome diversity of soils, aspects, elevations and microclimates. This complexity defines Hirschs farming and winemaking practices: each block was individually developed and is now farmed, harvested and vinified separately.

HIRSCH VINEYARDS Reserve Pinot Noir, Sonoma Coast The Hirsch Reserve Pinot Noir is a selection of their best barrels from the oldest and finest vineyard blocks at Hirsch. It is the highest expression of this complex and deeply expressive site, and a true reserve of very limited production. The Reserve may be the finest wine of their portfolio, with classic Hirsch tannins providing backbone and gravitas. A true reserve of very limited production.

Bannockburn is spicy with well intergraded savoury oak and great acidity backbone. The varietal flavours such as, raspberries, strawberries and red cherries fruits lingers with a faint hint of forest floor on the palate with well supporting tannins. A greatly composed wine, this is undoubtedly pushing the setting of this country's benchmark for Pinot Noir to another level.

Add in the sheer approachability courtesy of the smattering of strawberry and red berry flavours and the silken, soft finish and you have an Otago bargain that is a must try.

A great example of Tasmanian Pinot Noir, there is an exciting nose bursting with cherries. The palate is medium bodied and elegant, just as it should be.

Hand picked low yielding vines producing a wine with increased intensity of aroma, flavour, texture and length. Hand picked and fermented with indigenous yeast and matured in French oak for two years..
