Dog Point is responsible for some of Marlborough's best Pinot noir. This release has lifted aromas of dark cherries stone fruit and violets. The palate is rich and complex with a supple velvety texture.

Rudi Bauer is part of the reason Central Otago is on the Pinot Wine Map so prominently. His Pinot's show great depth of colour with aromas of forest floor, earth and mouth filling flavours of berry and cherry fruits.

Bannockburn is spicy with well intergraded savoury oak and great acidity backbone. The varietal flavours such as, raspberries, strawberries and red cherries fruits lingers with a faint hint of forest floor on the palate with well supporting tannins. The Seresin Leah is a wonderful example of hand-crafted Marlborough Pinot Noir which is sourced from 3 of Seresin's premium vineyard sites; the clay rich hillside Raupo Creek vineyard, the alluvial shingles of the Tatou vineyard and the Home vineyard, which is made up of a variety of Waimakariri type soils of alluvial origin. The wine itself shows a nose of savoury, spicy and earthy aromas with plum, berry and herbal notes. Following is a palate that is both focused and plush with a feminine feel of red fruits, namely strawberry and ripe cherry.

Bay of Fires Pinot Noir is always produced is such limited quantities, you need to get in quick to secure some. It isn't hard to see why Tasmania is quickly gaining a reputation as one of Australia's greatest cool-climate Pinot regions with wines like this Bay of Fires Pinot Noir. Showing ripe cherry, spice and leafy tones with soft, velvety tannins to complete the stylish package.

As the northern most sub-region of the Cote de Nuits, Marsannay has the propensity to produce wines or austerity and purity with firm structure. These wines are known to aged very well and this Louis Latour example is no exception. With notes of sour cherry and cigar box, this is an ethereal Pinot Noir with a classic feel about it.

This Pinot noir is the flagship from Two Paddocks an organically grown barrel selection from the estate properties. As in the vineyard, the wine is hand crafted using traditional methods including a 25% whole bunch indigenous fermentation and hand plunging. Maturation is in French barriques for 11 months, using a mix of older and new (25%) barrels.

Lindsay McCall has produced a seriously concentrated Mornington Pinot with spicy cherry fruit great cedary oak and a finish that will leave you wanting more. Fantastic value!
