Parker Estate Terra Rossa Cabernet Sauvignon is a Coonawarra Cabernet that always looks classy. Big rich cassis, blackberry and raspberry fruit ripple with an appealing suggestion of leafiness. The very best oak is always used for Parker's wines and that is evident again with fine integrated influence of French oak that delivers a balanced cedar and cigar box finish.

Leconfield's Cabernet Sauvignon is the flagship of Leconfield and a classic Coonawarra Cabernet. Blackcurrant aromas are combined with cedary oak and the palate is laden with sweet berry fruit balanced by fine lingering tannins. Paul Gordon has taken this classic beauty to even greater heights in recent years as its award history can attest.

'Black Label' Cabernet Sauvignon, which was first vintaged in 1954, has evolved markedly over the decades. It is arguably Australia's most recognised Cabernet Sauvignon, and has more than any other, helped define Coonawarra. The wine is matured in new and seasoned French oak for 12 to 18 months. A classic Coonawarra Cabernet with pristine dark berry/ cassis aromas, fine grained tannins and underlying savoury nuances, it develops into a rich, chocolaty wine with age. In a super vintage, this wine can look astonishingly like a 2nd or 3rd growth Bordeaux with its pure cassis aromas and cedary complexity. Katnook is a beacon for quality in Coonawarra for many a decade. Their Cabernet is their flagship that has a rich and elegant bouquet with aromas of cedary blackcurrant. Supported by well integrated toasty oak while the palate shows long fine varietal flavours.

This wine reveals a deep rose-red hue, layered with Coonawarra’s signature hints of mint and blackberry. Aromas of blackcurrant and ripe forest berries rise from the glass, complemented by over 12 months of ageing in French oak. Subtle notes of cinnamon and toasted oak add warmth and complexity to the finish.

The Cigar 2018 is a lovely bright, fresh Coonawarra Cabernet. Vibrant, deep magenta in colour. The aromatics are rich with blue and black fruits, notes of spice and warm, comforting aromas of cedar, strawberry compote and sandalwood. The palate is expressive with blackcurrant, plum and clove spice, melding with dark chocolate and ripe fruits. The wine has a beautiful structure with fine tannins and balanced acidity ensuring longevity.
