This is old vine McLaren Vale Shiraz skillfully blended with older vine grenache. The palate is full of spice and black fruits with an alluring undertone of red fruits dervived from the significant grenache content. This is the sixth release of this multi award winning red that is sure to please everyone in the room.

This rare Grenache has lovely aromas of musk and boiled lollies, with a hint of earthiness and dried herb. Balanced, elegant, and textural, 2022 Grenache SBE presents the complete package. Where Grenache SBO (oak barrel maturation) is upfront and bold, Grenache SBE shows restraint and focus, with a textural weight that defines its identity.

This rare Grenache has a beautiful perfume lift of wild boysenberry, rhubarb and pomegranate. On the palate, Grenache SBO is bursting with vibrant berry flavours of red cherry and raspberry. Deliciously creamy and focused with soft plush fruit that entwines the purity of Grenache

Dark ruby with purple hues Red, blue and black fruits, aromatic dry spices and a mineral, earthy undertone A seamless connection between the three varieties. Medium bodied with bright cherry, raspberry, spiced plum, blackberry and mulberry all present. Succulent acidity brings a pleasing tartness, balanced by a silky textured and opulent mid palate, finishing long with fine grained gravelly tannins.

A rich and deep history in the region has seen them settle on some of best vineyard land in the region which helps produce juicy, pleasure-filled wines like this Basket Pressed Grenache. Lifted colours of purple and dark crimson in the glass give a preview to the layers of brambly fruit on the nose. Copious amounts of plush redcurrants and raspberry on the palate with a silken mouthfeel due to elegant tannin and bright acidity.
