Zilzie's Cabernet Sauvignon has generous layers of rich dark berry fruits, delicate tannins and an elegant touch of oak. The palate of menthol and mint are balanced by ripe blackcurrant and plum. Tannins are mature and rounded which will support further aging. It is ideal for cured meats such as salami and prosciutto, as well as soft cheeses. Enjoy chilled, it is best served as a pre-dinner aperitif, so take one to your next dinner party and the other guests will be glad you brought it.

The Cabernet brings succulent blackberry and plum to the glass, all enriched by toasty, supple oak tannins. Aromas of dark cherry, blackcurrant and plum layered with toasty oak. The palate is rich in dark berry, varietal flavours balanced by oak and velvety tannins. Pairs perfectly to grilled steak with black peppercorn sauce and fat chips.

While Durif is not widely grown in Australia but has a loyal following nonetheless. De Bortoli Deen Vat 1 is an excellent example, showing typically deep colour and lots of rich, ripe fruit supported by firm tannins. Perfect when paired with a thick cut steak and roasted vegetables.

This Shiraz has vibrant red fruits, with a hint of blueberry and vanilla and a soft, elegant finish.

Josef Chromy Pinot Noir has a richness and wholeness that demands attention. Supple tannins with leather and secondary characters abound. The South Island of New Zealand is home to some of the worlds greatest new world Pinot Noir's and Central Otago can claim a large proportion of these. This superb Otago Pinot from South Island is an exotic light bodied red with wild fruit flavours of strawberry and ripe cherry and proves you don't have to break the bank to get great Otago Pinot Noir.

Once again this producer provides us with a handy little number showing plenty of varietal and regional characteristics. Sticks Pinot Noir from Yarra Valley, features lovely red cherry flavours with playfull spices and charry oak influence. Lean with subtle tannins and medium finish.
