Sauvignon Blanc is famous for zesty white wines from France's Loire Valley or from New Zealand. Grown in Israel's Adulam region, it yields intensely aromatic, vibrant wines. This Sauvignon Blanc has a pale light colour with typical aromas of passionfruit and green apples, tinged with pleasant herbal notes. Its crisp finish and fine balance make it the ideal accompaniment to fish such as flounder and bass.

Aromatics of freshly cut pineapple and pink grapefruit notes, the palate shows subtle creamy notes and texture with refined minerality.

Zilzie's Cabernet Sauvignon has generous layers of rich dark berry fruits, delicate tannins and an elegant touch of oak. The palate of menthol and mint are balanced by ripe blackcurrant and plum. A lovely and unusual Sauvignon Blanc from Hawkes Bay. It is barrel-fermented with a touch of Semillon and Sauvignon Gris. This wine has aromas of citrus blossom, pear and stone fruit and will evolve in the bottle for five years from harvest.

Another outstanding release from excellent producer, Scotchmans Hill. Robin Brockett adds a touch of oak to lend some welcome texture and dimension not always seen in this variety, yet it retains its trademark zing.

Lindeman's, a well know household name for good quality wine. Their Bin 95 Sauvignon Blanc was an elegantly made classic with gooseberry and ripe kiwifruit on the nose; medium bodied with similar characteristic on the palate. Short to medium length with a clean finish.
