Forty percent fermented in new French oak with partial malolactic fermentation and aged for 4 months. Brilliant pale straw colour with a subtle greenish tinge around the edges and a watery hue. Nectarine, grapefruit and delicate dried honey aromas are trailed by gun flint end notes. Round, creamy textured and nicely concentrated, mouth filling flavours of ripe peach, nectarine and dried honey wrap themselves around the palate. Traces of biscuity nougat and spice lie underneath. Krondorf is a Barossa wine name that is steeped in history and tradition. Beginning with the establishment of the Glenview winery back in 1850s, the Krondorf name was re-born by Grant Burge back in 1978 and today is one of the most successful wineries on the wine show circuit winning countless trophies and gold medals in the past 10 years.
