The Main Divide Pinot Noir shows aromas and flavours of cherries and red berry fruits with impressions of raspberries, mulberries and blackberries. There are also savoury hints of grilled mushrooms, black olives and roast game. Ripe fine grained tannins give it structure and length, but these are covered with a velvety robe, leaving impressions of dark chocolate and spice. While drinking beautifully now, it will continue to develop over the next few years in bottle.

Amongst the sea of quality Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc that is flooding Australia, Seresin Sauvignon Blanc stands out as having that something extra: perhaps it is the wild yeast ferment; perhaps the partial barrel ferment; or perhaps it is the 5 per cent of Semillon in the blend. The wine is made in as natural a way as possible, harking back to ancient winemaking techniques. Hand picked, some carbonic fermentation, minimal plunging, racked from barrel and bottled without fining or filtration. No added sulphites. Deep red like your mum's lipstick. Bright and crunchy, yet dark and dense just like a bar of black forest chocolate. Red fruits mingle with dried herbs and tobacco. A raw expression of Pinot Noir.
