Faustino VII Tempranillo 750MLx6

Faustino is recognised as one of the leading producers in Rioja, consistently appearing in Drinks International's ""World's most admired wine brands"" list. As the brand's slogan goes, ""There are faces you never forget"", and the unforgetable label features a portrait of Nicolaes van Bambeeck, a 17th-century Dutch merchant painted by Rembrandt in 1641. Vibrant and expressive with fruit characters of dark cherries and red plums, supported by gentle cigar box aromas from a short ageing in American oak. Made in a well-balanced and approachable style, perfect for pairing with a range of dishes from burgers to spicy tacos.

Viña Bujanda Tinto Joven Rioja

Love red wines with easy fruit and elegance? This Joven (young) Rioja is a must-try. We’ve known the Bujanda family since 1984, when they completed their state-of-the-art winery. In fact, we were the first to introduce their wines to the UK. Four decades later, their cellar remains one of the finest in Europe, with a trophy cabinet full of awards and a top winemaker at the helm – Lauren Rosillo. This Joven is from the family’s beautiful Finca Valpiedra estate, whose vineyard is nestled in a bend of the Ebro river. Made entirely from estate-grown Tempranillo and aged for a year in bottle, it’s silky with bright strawberry and blackberry fruit. Smooth enough to sip solo, or pair with tapas, charcuterie or game.

Today, Macedonia is continuing its rich wine heritage with modern interpretations of both indigenous and international varieties. This Vranec, the most planted grape in Macedonia, is aged in Amphoras based on ancient versions dug up in Dalvinas vineyards. With aromas of berries, this dry savoury wine shows flavours of ripe plums, other black fruits with firm tannins.

Marqués de Riscal Próximo Rioja

Marqués de Riscal Próximo is a new addition to the Marqués range and is a bright and fruit driven Rioja style sourced from slightly younger Tempranillo vines. Very strict parcel selection along with traditional picking techniques, this Rioja is bursting with dark blackberry fruit with notes of rich, ripe plums. Hints of liquorice and star anise also give the wine a superb backbone that is perfectly suited many Mediterranean cuisines.

Earthworks Barossa Tempranillo

Family owned and operated, Barossa earthworks make its wines from 100% Barossa grapes, grown at small family owned vineyards. Drawing on more than 160 years of local wine knowledge, traditional winemaking methods and minimal processing are used to preserve the purity, integrity, texture and flavour of the wines. Blood red in colour, Earthworks Tempranillo opens with boysenberry, pepper, a hint of charred meats and black forest cake aromas. The soft tannins spread over your palate giving a juicy, ferrous, velvet mouth feel, a must try in our opinion.
