Château Latour à is an unclassified producer yet amongst the great crus of the Pomerol appellation. The excellent 1982 vintage has produced a Latour à for the ages. Still retaining structure in its maturity, the nose exerts dark fruits, herbs and subtle spice leading to the elegantly balanced palate.

A great vintage of a great wine. It is fully mature but still vibrant and nowhere near the end of its life. The cork was obviously impeccable as this is a perfect bottle. Wonderful licorice, aniseed and spicy fruit aromas of enormous complexity and charm. Full-bodied, intense and very, very long on the palate. The tannins have softened out superbly. A great wine. Produced from Garnacha (Grenache) and Carinena varieties, this Spanish red offers lively aromas of spice and berries. The palate is rich and textured with fine velvety tannins. Superb with roast meats.
