Fossilbed Reserve Limestone Coast Shiraz

The Limestone Coast was under the sea for over 25 million years. Fast-forward one million years, the region rose out of the sea and fossils helped form the prized red soils (‘terra rossa’) for which the Limestone Coast is famous. This delicious red offers stacks of ripe, sweet fruit on the nose and palate, with a chocolate-rich mouthfeel and spicy persistence.

Penfolds St Henri Shiraz

Langton's Classification: Outstanding

Proudly, a wine style that hasn’t succumbed to the dictates of fashion or commerce. St Henri is rich and plush when young, gaining soft, earthy, mocha-like characters as it ages. It is matured in old, 1,460 litre vats that allow the wine to develop, imparting minimal, if any oak character. Although a small proportion of Cabernet is sometimes used to improve structure, the focal point for St Henri remains Shiraz.

Minchinbury Cabernet Merlot

This Cabernet Merlot, sourced from premium Australian wine regions, has fresh dark berry fruit flavours balanced by soft tannins.

Sorbet Wild BerryShiraz

This is Shiraz, refreshed. Sorbet Wild Berry Shiraz is a refreshing take on a classic red, with intense flavours of lifted fresh berries that perfectly complement the Shiraz fruit profile. Aromas of berry fruits with peppery Ribena varietal characters make for a red that's as fresh as it is fun. Serve it chilled or at room temperature - whatever refreshment suits the moment.

Schild Estate Prämie Barossa Valley Shiraz

Battle of Bosworth Puritan McLaren Vale Shiraz

Battle of Bosworth started conversion to organic in 1995. Now, fully organic certified, they have a significant holding of 20 years and older vines. Their Puritan Shiraz is modelled on the young Tempranillos that come out of Rioja in Spain – no oak, just straight into bottle, so the fruit flavours really shine. (And they really do shine!) No added preservatives make this a top choice for the sulphur-sensitive.

Forester Estate Lifestyle Cabernet Merlot

Forester Estate is owned by Vignerons Kevin and Jenny McKay. It’s situated in Yallingup, in the northern Margaret River region. Kevin’s motto is to build complexity and texture into his wines literally from the ground up! The superb wines are made by Todd Payne who has had “a distinguished career, starting in the Great Southern, then the Napa, Plantagenet, Esk Valley in Hawke’s Bay, and on to the Northern Rhône” (Halliday). This is a beautifully expressive wine. Inky, rich and herbal Cabernet melds with plummy, velvety, mouthfilling Merlot to create a really layered and complex wine you want to keep on sipping.

Hardys Stamp Shiraz

If you're after a soft, easy to drink red wine, you've come to the right place. Hardys Stamp Shiraz is fruity and supple, with just a touch of spice. It comes in a 1 litre bottle, so there's plenty of love to share around.

Church Road McDonald Series Syrah

Church Road is one of the oldest wineries in New Zealand. Led by legendary winemaker Tom McDonald, they were one of the first to craft exceptional Bordeaux-style red wine in Hawkes Bay. Today, they still maintain Toms vision of quality and craft in all the wines they make. Church Roads commitment to centuries-old winemaking techniques using French oak wine vats and French oak barriques remains undiminished. The winery is celebrating Tom McDonalds vision and legacy with the Church Road McDonald Series, complex, textural wines that are a fitting tribute to a legend whose influence is still felt today. The syrah exudes dark berry fruit, lifted floral and spice aromas, and a plush, approachable palate structure. Simply stunning.
