Chateau Tracy Pouilly Fume

The 2020 vintage offers a complex nose of blackcurrants, boxwood, and subtle hints of tarragon, followed by lemon and exotic fruits all underpinned by minerality. The palate is tangy and fresh with a lovely richness echoing the fruit flavors found on the nose. Very elegant with a long, complex finish.

Virginie de Valandraud Bordeaux Blanc

The 2019 vintage of Virginie de Valandraud Bordeaux Blanc from Chateau Valandraud in Bordeaux, France, is a true embodiment of elegance and finesse. This pale straw-colored wine immediately entices with its inviting aromas of white flowers, ripe citrus, and subtle notes of vanilla. On the palate, it reveals a perfect balance of bright acidity and creamy texture, with flavors of lemon, pear, and hints of toasted almonds. The finish is clean and refreshing, leaving a lingering impression of minerality. Crafted with a blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon grapes, this wine showcases the terroir of Bordeaux, with a touch of modernity. Ideal as an aperitif or paired with seafood dishes, this Bordeaux Blanc is a must-try for any wine lover.

Château Closiot C de Sec Bordeaux Blanc

“Dominated by Sémillon that's picked late, just before botrytis really takes off in the vineyards, Guffens's 2020 Le C du Sec du Château Closiot is very promising, exhibiting inviting aromas of stone fruit, orange oil, beeswax, ripe melon, vanilla pod and nutmeg. Medium to full-bodied, deep and layered, with racy acids, chalky structuring extract and a long, penetrating finish, it's one of the most interesting dry wines being produced in Bordeaux today.” William Kelley, Wine Advocate 94 Points

Château Lanessan Haut-Médoc

Château Lanessan continues to be a true bargain in the Bordeaux world. Lanessan produces wines that at first seem firm, but flesh out with marvellous fruit with good richness. Lanessan is also a very consistant producer, creating wines of quality from questionable vintages. The great thing is that you don't have to worry too much about 'questionable' vintage when looking at this superb 2009. The Bordeaux Gods have definitely been smiling on communes and produced wines of utmost concentration and power. Lanessan did not miss out with the licquorice, spice and blackcurrant rich wine that will reward the Bordeaux bargain hunter for the next decade or more.

Château d'Arche Sauternes

Château d'Arche is an important part of Sauternes history with winemaking dating back to the 16th century. New treatments to the wines including maturing the wine for at least two years in casks, 40% of which are new help produce a wine of utmost concentration. The 2009 d'Arche is a seriously powerful wine with copious characters of marmalade, apricot and dense pineapple. Capturing the vintage perfectly, this is a Sauternes that requires a deeply flavoured cheese accompaniment.

Château Les Ormes de Pez Saint-Estephe

A truly serious Bordeaux from the Saint Estephe appellation in the Northern Medoc. Dominated by tannin and acid at the moment, it will fill out to reveal all it's velvety richness in years to come.
