First Creek Winemaker's Reserve Shiraz

Plum and blackberries with a hint of black pepper. Mulberry, blackberry and plum flavours with earthy complexities and hints of liquorice. Supported by fine velvety tannins, with a long satisfying finish. Cold soaked for 36 hours before being fermented with neutral yeast in open top fermenters. Plunged 4 times a day in the height of ferment to extract delicate fruit tannins and enhance the vibrant colour. First Creek Wines is a family owned and operated winery based in the Hunter Valley NSW, Australia's oldest wine producing region. Our talented and highly acclaimed team of winemakers have been crafting wines of exceptional regional quality since 1996. Greg Silkman - CEO and Winemaker, Liz Silkman - Chief Winemaker, Shaun Silkman - Chief Operating Officer and their team consistently make wines that highlight the great diversity of styles from the Hunter Valley, as well as examples from other wine regions. First Creek's emphasis on careful fruit selection and a rigorous attention to detail throughout the winemaking process has produced a range of wines that appeals to both critics and consumers alike. LIZ SILKMAN - 2016 and 2011 HUNTER VALLEY WINEMAKER OF THE YEAR.

Mount Pleasant Mountain D Full Bodied Dry Red, Hunter Valley The Mountain Range wines pay homage to Maurice O'Shea's talent as a master blender. He had an astounding ability to make and recognise small unique parcels. And depending on what style they were, light-bodied, medium-bodied or full-bodied, O'Shea gave each of them different code names: Mountain C, Mountain A and Mountain D.

Silkman Reserve Shiraz

Glenguin Schoolhouse Shiraz

Hand-selected bunches of the highest quality from the Schoolhouse Block at Glenguin's Hunter Valley vineyard. 12 months in 100% French oak (25% new), 30% whole bunches, aged in bottle for a further 12 months gives this wine concentration and complexity. Classic Hunter Valley savoury characters of earth and game dominate the palate, with an undercurrent of red and black fruits, complemented by spicy oak and held together by fine tannins.
