Quinta do Espirito Santo
Valoroso Reserva
Wolf & Shepherd Adelaide Hills Sangiovese Tempranillo Rose
Unique blend of Sangiovese & Tempranillo. A Delicate pale salmon hue shows lifted floral aromas mixed with freshly picked strawberries. The palette has delicate hints of rose petal and Turkish delight, and should be consumed chilled or on ice.
Lark Hill Regional Shiraz
Spinifex Papillon
Spinifex Papillon is a vibrant and luscious red from the Baross Valley that is a blend of Grenache, Cinsault and Mataro. Made in the typical modern Australian mould, the Papillon is bright and aromatic with lifted cherry, red currant and spicy raspberry. A very perfumed wine with earthy flavours of beetroot and white pepper which lends itself to being a terrific food style wine with lovely acid structure and a medium weight.
The Black Pig Reserve McLaren Vale GSM
There’s bundles of flavour in this classy Grenache, Shiraz and Mourvédre. A special blend that offers soft layers of fruit, and rich and velvety charm – The Black Pig delivers again!
Thorn Clarke Shotfire Barossa Quartage
The 2015 Shotfire Quartage is comprised of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Merlot. These are the classic grapes of France’s Bordeaux region, but this is definitely a Barossa wine – there’s no mistaking those intense, ripe fruit flavours. The fruit comes from three of Thorn Clarke's prime Barossa vineyards: St Kitts in the northern part of the Barossa, Kabininge on the Barossa floor near Tanunda, and Milton Park in the Barossa’s elevated Eden Valley. It's rich and full-flavoured, a lavish melange of ripe red and black fruits, delicious spice and creamy, toasty oak on a long, luscious finish.
Picco Attila ()
If you enjoy discovering some of the thousand or so grape varieties most people have never heard of, try this. Aside from Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, local varieties such as Refosco provide original and distinctive wines in refreshing, food friendly styles. Picco Attila was aged in large oak botti (vats) and has flavours of dark damson, fig and prune. Winemaker Alessandro Gallici likes to serve this wine with rich game or creamy polenta with pumpkin, a local favourite.
