A blend of Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon, this attractive white from Leeuwin Estate shows concentrated tropical fruit characters, such as honeydew melons, pineapples and fresh lime along with aromatic floral notes of Jasmine, frangipani with hints of warm spices on the nose. It is well rounded with vibrant citrus fruits and balanced acidity on the palate. Length finish and great with Asian food.

A family owned and operated winery in Western Australia's glorious Margaret River wine region. Established in 2000, Knee Deep has an enviable reputation for crafting serious quality wines, but without the hefty price tags of some of their 'elite' neighbours. The ancient terroir, pure ocean breezes, and warm mild climate produce vintages of balance, complexity and quality, as clearly demonstrated in this juicy and admirable Sauvignon Blanc. Vibrant aromas of honeysuckle and mandarin before a palate of honeydew, citrus blossom and white peach flavours. 18% underwent fermentation in French oak, and was then left of lees for 5 months. The result? A creamy texture with hints of cashew, superbly balanced by a fine acid line drawing the wine through to a long, flavoursome finish. This excellent expression of Chardonnay, partly due to only limited time in oak, is light, fresh and zesty but with inherent complexity. Pale straw in colour, this wine exhibits lifted nectarine and white blossom characters with underlying minerality and depth. The palate is clean and lively with tremendous depth of ripe stone-fruit flavour nuanced by cashew notes. A refreshing backbone of natural grape acidity provides further structure and length.

A well structured wine offering both elegance and generosity of flavour. Stone fruits mingled with toasted nuts provide a complex array of flavours over a core citrus backbone.

Forester Estate Sauvignon Blanc has clean aromas with underlying richness and varietal fruit characters of lychee and passionfruit. There's a subtle hint of blackcurrant along with lime and well integrated cedar oak. There is a herbaceous thread through the wine of pea shell and nettle along with underlying wood smoke. On the palate, full and textured with a rich creamy texture. There is lychee, lemon thyme, nettle, roasted red capsicum and passionfruit along with balanced cedar oak and wood smoke.

Voyager Estate in the Margaret River seem to have a mortgage on this style! An attractive herbal edge on the nose is supported by a lemony/minerally palate with terrific acid and length.

The palate exudes fleshy primary fruits, layered with nutmeal, lemon butter and brioche. A chalky, mineral texture and fresh citrus acidity continues the bounce.
