A Single cask Whisky produced only from malt spirit distilled in Scotland and matured in a fresh cream sherry oak cask. Prior to bottling, its natural strength 51% alc./vol. is reduced to 45% alc./vol. Dark amber robe with a reddish tinge. Fragrances of Sherry, flowers, vanilla, dried fruits. Mellow, and long in the mouth. A fabulous balance between sherrys warmth and the fresh flavours only barley can produce.

HISTORY Château de Laubade was built in 1870 in the heart of the noblest area of the AOC Bas Armagnac and is today the premier Armagnac property. Today, the third generation is actively involved in the quest of excellence of the property, composed of 105 hectares of single vineyard, to make Château de Laubade an undisputed reference among the Armagnac category. VINEYARD 105 hectares of single vineyard in Bas Armagnac. Four traditional grape varieties: Ugni-Blanc, Folle Blanche, Colombard and Baco (the most emblematic). Sustainable agriculture: organic manure is produced by 600 ewes. ROCKFORD Basket Press Rare Chance Release Shiraz
Robert O'Callaghan's Rockford Basket Press Shiraz is one of the Barossa Valley's most important wines. It entered Langton's Classification of Australian Wine in 2000 and is one of 21 wines in the 1st Classified tier today. It is sold almost exclusively to Rockford's own mailing list customers and is rarely made available to the retail market. Rockford’s squat, high–shouldered brown bottle - reminiscent of 1940s red wine packaging - is instantly recognisable. Basket Press manages to combine the concentration and power of the traditional Barossa Shiraz style of the 1950s and '60s with the supple freshness of contemporary winemaking. It has achieved its high status in a relatively short time: the first vintage was 1984.
