Once again this producer provides us with a handy little number showing plenty of varietal and regional characteristics. Sticks Pinot Noir from Yarra Valley, features lovely red cherry flavours with playfull spices and charry oak influence. Lean with subtle tannins and medium finish.

Lucky for all involved, Warramunda are very much in the business of producing generous, sophisticated, juicy pinots... This single-vineyard site sits on the north-facing slopes of Coldstream, Yarra Valley, with 80% whole berries and 20% whole bunches, there's something exhilarating about this wine... A gorgeous bright ruby and crushed raspberry colour in the glass. Little flecks of blue and purple weave throughout. There is a crushed fruit aroma of raspberries and strawberries which feels very lively and close to the source. Energy and zeal in the glass. Plush and vibrant with well-integrated oak and a structure that will allow for aging, should the cellar beckon. This is brilliant small batch production from a certified Yarra icon - Warramunda.

From Kate Goodman's team, who already bring us the wonderful Punt Rd range, this second label perpetuates their well deserved reputation. This is a soft, fruit driven Pinot from sites around the Yarra Valley. It offers great complexity at this price.

100% Barrel Aged and hand picked from old vines within the Yarra Valley. Pale brick red color and spicy fruit aroma that holds forest like notes of strawberries. Both tannins of subtle oak and fruit are a good follow through. A very satisfying Pinot.

Scotchman's Hill's second label often throws up some terrific value for money. A beautiful spicy nose with cinnamon and clove elements, supported by cherry flavours and grippy tannins.

This well crafted Pinot Noir presents red fruit aromas of raspberries and strawberries coupled with some rose and earthiness. The lush and medium bodied palate impresses you with its flavours of sweet fruit, fine tannins, balanced acidity and a satisfying finale. Age this wine in the cellar for 3 to 5 years for great complexity. Enjoy it with roasted chicken, salmon or pasta dishes.

This is a great value for money Pinot! 6ft6 has lovely aromas of cherries raspberries and a hint of white pepper on the nose. The palate is brimming with bright lively fruit and the balance is impeccable.

This wine is made with Pinot Noir fruit grown on some spectacular vineyard sites in the Yarra Valley, comprising predominantly MV6 clone, with some 114 and 115. Pacha Mama use minimal additives or fining and aim to let the fruit shine through rather than clobbering all over it with heavy oak use or commercial wine-making techniques. Flavours of sour cherry and wild strawberries carry on to the palate complexed by a savoury spice and intriguing earthiness that lingers long after the last mouthful.
