The cool climate and rich loamy soils of the Mornington Peninsula provide the perfect foundation for the cultivation of Pinot Noir grapes. A beautifully perfumed example of the classic medium-bodied Yarra Valley style from an exciting new entrant to the local scene, made by the highly experienced Paul Bridgeman. Medium garnet. Open and expressive aromas of mulled strawberry, forest floor and clove. Plush and polished palate, delivering a riot of red berry perfume, and velvet umami throughout, enhanced by damp earth, mushroom and stalk and charry barrel harmony.

Displaying an intense ruby colour, the 2018 Inara Pinot Noir is a study in red fruits. Full of dark cherry, raspberry and macerated strawberry flavours, the palate of this wine has silky tannins and a touch of clove spice from the oak ageing. A wine made to be enjoyed with family and friends.

Yering Station Yarra Pinot Noir is a classic Pinot Noir with red/black cherry complimented with brooding earthy undertones and subtle savoury spice on the nose. The palate hints of violets and lavender. Rich black cherry spice surrounded by vanillin oak. Lovely middle palate concentration supported by fine velvet like tannins.

There is a delicate perfume of Kirsch and dried strawberry with underlying dried bouquet garni. This is a light to medium-bodied wine with a supple yet generously flavoured palate.

The Yarra Valley is renowned for its excellence in Pinot Noir and this expression is no exception. In the glass: Medium garnet red. On the nose: Ripe dark berry fruit. On the palate: Bold, quite powerul red plum and raspberry fruit with some background stalky, herbal elements. Firm and dry yet flavoursome and varietal.

Howard Parks Flink Rock Pinot Noir features fruit from the sub-regional trio of Mt Barker, Porongurup and Frankland River. In the glass: Attractive light Pinot red. On the nose: Fresh, concentrated strawberry and cedary oak. On the palate: Quite light and elegant, its juicy with silken dark cherry fruit, savoury depth and length and soft, background oak. Shows just the right amount of stalky complexity.
