Blackberry, dark cherry, clove and black pepper aromas. Very flavoursome with masses of dark berry fruit flavour, cool climate pepper, espresso and kitchen spice complexity, deep yet silken tannins and plenty of charry oak in support.

Aromas of sweet plum, ripe blackberry, red liquorice and a hint of smokey oak. The palate is generous and smooth with dark fruits of blackberry and white pepper. Fine tannins combine with the dusty oak tannins to provide a persistent fruit driven finish.

With 2008 being one of the greatest vintages recorded in modern history in South Australia, little gems like this 2008 Jamiesons Run Shiraz are worth their weight in gold. Ripe berry fruit with touches of mint chocolate biscuit and hints of black pepper spice. A few years in our climate controlled cellars has softened the tannins nicely to provide a fantastic value for money red wine suited to many cuisine types.
