This is a lovely drop for warmer weather. As Shanteh Wale says in The Halliday Wine Companion, this is “made for drinking and good times. Serve slightly chilled" but it is not without complexity. The wine is made possible thanks to Rae Clark, a proud vigneron who has been working in the wine industry for around 30 years. She is a passionate advocate for improving biodiversity through sustainable vineyard practices in her home region of Coonawarra. And when it came to finding the best selection of Sauvignon Blanc for this new wine, the winemakers knew instantly to reach out to Rae. Aromas of passionfruit, pineapple and other tropical delights leap from the glass, backed up by a palate of spritely guava and gooseberry with a lively citrus finish.

Refresh yourself with a dazzling RedHeads Sauvignon – proving how well Coonawarra, normally celebrated for its reds, especially Cabernet, handles white varieties. Lime and melon aromas add savoury character to the citrus fruit, which on the palate boasts gooseberry, grapefruit and hints of tropical passion fruit, Sereia, a rare girl's name comes from the Portuguese word for mermaid.

This Cabernet Shiraz blend from Majella, icons of Coonawarra, is all about bright youthful fruit. Made with little oak influence, the upfront mulberry and blackcurrant characters are supported by fine lingering tannins.

As with its Caberent Sauvignon sibling the Coonawarra Series Shiraz is made in a ripe, generous style with classic spicy varietal characteristics and definitive structure. Showing great depth of flavour, the palate is host to notes of cherry, mulberry and hazelnut with an underlying cool, mineral line and fine oak tannin. Parker Estate is a wine that's very approachable in its youth but can also be cellared short to medium term.

The Parker Coonawarra Estate Cabernet Sauvignon is made in a riper, more generous style to its peers, yet with enough restraint to display the distinct varietal and regional characteristics. Dark chocolates, violets and notes of liquorice capture the nose, revealing a expansive soft palate layered in berry fruits. Supported by fine grain tannins, the wine encompassing a classic structure, one that can be enjoyed on release and or cellared short to medium term.
