Tapanappa is defined by its "distinguished site" philosophy. Late harvested at the end of the March, the riesling fruit was vintaged in the fastidious fashion that has been developed over the past three decades. Tapanappa Eden Valley Riesling 2022 is a pure expression of a unique terroir. Typical of Eden Valley Riesling, the Tapanappa Riesling is very floral with some citrus blossom aromas. An off-dry lower alcohol style, Felton Roads Bannockburn Riesling displays floral lift and fleshy stone fruit richness balanced by taut racy acidity. Kaesler have had their Semillon vines in the ground since 1960, and in that time have made some truly wonderful wines. The now Old Vines produce wine of intensity, focus, character and sheer drinkability. Cut grass and citrus, green apple and lemon curd, it is drinking beautifully now and will improve over the short term.

How can something that is so light in alcohol have such incredible palate weight and texture? It's an art form and Ernst Loosen is a master. The Kabinett style means a decent lick of residual sugar, but the steely, crunchy acid means you'll hardly notice it. Simply stunning.
