Mumm Marlborough Brut Prestige is a distinctive sparkling wine that marries the best of New Zealand Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Meunier grapes with Méthode Traditionnelle techniques from the French Champagne Maison Mumm. The result is a refined, elegant wine of exceptional quality & delightful fruity notes. Notes of fresh fruit (pear, apricot, peach, and citrus) dominate, complemented by notes of honey and biscuit. After a frank and lively attack, fresh fruit notes permit a beautiful balance on the palate. A tense and attractive structured finish. Aged for a minimum of two years in our cellars.

Ageing for a minimum of 24 months on lees adds complexity to the fresh citrus, red apple and spring blossom aromas. The palate is crisp with a lingering, mouth-watering finish. A persistent fine bead and creamy mousse gives extra lift to these delicious aromas and flavours. Winemaking: Different parcels of fruit are all hand-picked and whole bunch pressed separately into tank for settling. Fermentation of these small batches lasts around 12 days and in 2012 only some parcels of wine were putthrough malo-lactic ferment to soften the acidity and add complexity. Mumm Marlborough Vintage Rosé is a vintage cuvée made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes from the best parcels of their vineyards. The most attractive qualities of New Zealand Pinot Noir allow the creation of this complex and structured wine, with elegant floral & fruity notes.After four years of ageing, this cuvée reveals its aromatic potential: flavours of small red berries, cranberries and rose petals, complemented by notes of shortbread. An expressive and generous wine with great length on the palate and an attractive finish. Aged for four years in Mumm's cellars.

Lifted ripe nashi pears, lemon, quince, and melon, lying beneath are notes of freshly grown lavender blossom with hints of sweet baked apple pie crust and cassia bark from the wines time on yeast lees in bottle. A lovely textural palate is evident immediately, showing quince, subtle lime and just caramelized nougat. This Leeuwin Estate Brut Pinot Noir Chardonnay displays a fine bead that threads the acid line into a seductive mouth filling and long palate.

Candied fruit, straw and bready cracked-yeast characters are full and appetising to sniff. In the mouth, it's full and rich and loaded with toasty lees-age and pilot flavours, finishing nicely dry, with balanced soft acidity and plenty of verve with a sustained and satisfying finish.
