A nose of baked apple and sultana, rolled marzipan, sesame seeds, and roasted spices. Smooth tasting, with dark fleshy fruits, mixed peel, chocolate, walnut; the taut spicy middle section dies back to baked oranges. Finish includes dried fruit, lemon zest and oak spice delight the palate, before finishing with a woody and honeyed sweetness.

Our preference for malted rye over the far more commonly used unmalted rye affords this whisky a point of distinction evident upon the very first sip.
